I have been asked any number of times, but can this tapping stuff help my companion animal? The answer is simple – perhaps! I have seen some really amazing responses from tapping for animals. The bottom line is, why not try? It does not hurt, and it may help. To tap for your animal, pretend you are the animal, and tap on yourself saying all of the things you think might be affecting the animal. The latest one I worked with was a cat. The rather distraught owner had taken him in for tests which all turned up negative. The cat was not eating well (a very bad sign), and his skin did not look good. He was vomiting food and had occasional diarrhea. The owner had tried several different foods, to no avail. Then she told me that he had been despondent from the time the other cat had died, and that he had been abandoned as a kitten. Well! That is certainly something to tap for. So I tapped for his feelings of further abandonment when his adopted mom died, and then the next day, for his accepting the new kitty in the household as a new mom. His behavior has already changed, just in 24 hours. I look forward to hearing more from this owner!
